Domestic Filters
Filter Cartridges
These are the 10-inch cartridges that go inside domestic RO plants and water filters. Pre-filters that clean the water before the membrane, and post-filters that treat it afterwards. All standard 10-inch fittings, so they work in most home systems sold in Pakistan — including plants we did not supply.

Pre-Filters: Before the Membrane
PPF Sediment Filter. Stage one on almost every domestic system. Removes sand, silt, dirt and rust before anything reaches the stages behind it. This is the cartridge that protects your membrane.
GAC — Granular Activated Carbon. Loose carbon granules with high flow. Handles the bulk of chlorine and odour removal.
CTO — Carbon Block. Compressed activated carbon. Polishes taste and traps finer particles the earlier stages missed. Usually the last stage before the membrane.
PPY Sediment Filter. A spun-yarn sediment cartridge, an alternative to standard PPF on certain water conditions.
Anti-Scalant Cartridge. Reduces scale formation on hard water, protecting the membrane from scaling damage.
Post-Filters: After the Membrane
Mineral Cartridge. Adds calcium and magnesium back after the RO membrane. RO strips minerals along with the dissolved salts, which is why RO water can taste flat. This is what fixes that.
Alkaline Cartridge. Raises the pH of the output water.
Nano Silver Cartridge. Adds antibacterial protection at the post-filter stage.
Inline Post Carbon. Final taste polish on the line to the faucet.
Cation Resin Cartridge. Softening media in cartridge form, for hardness on smaller systems.
Which Micron Rating?
The micron rating is the particle size the sediment cartridge catches. Smaller number means finer filtration.
5 Micron — the standard choice. Catches ordinary sediment and lasts the longest before clogging. Right for most municipal and tanker supply.
1 Micron — finer. Catches particles a 5 micron lets through, but clogs faster. Useful as a second sediment stage, or where the water carries fine silt.
0.3 Micron — finest we stock. Highest protection for the membrane, shortest working life. Worth it where water quality is poor and membrane replacement would be expensive.
A practical note. Going finer does not always mean better. On heavily silted water a 0.3 micron cartridge can clog in days, and a clogged cartridge stops protecting anything. Many customers do better with a 5 micron changed on schedule than a 0.3 micron left in too long.
Where Our Cartridges Are Made
We stock cartridges from different sources because they suit different budgets and different water.
PPF sediment cartridges — available Vietnam-made, Taiwan-made and locally made in Pakistan.
Carbon cartridges (GAC and CTO) — available Vietnam-made, Taiwan-made and China-made.
Local PPF is the most economical option and works on ordinary supply water. Vietnam and Taiwan cartridges cost more and generally hold up longer and more consistently, which matters most on heavy sediment loads.
Tell us your water and usage and we will recommend accordingly. We are not going to push you toward the expensive option if your water does not need it.
When to Replace
You will see six-month and eight-month replacement intervals advertised for these cartridges. That is not what we see in Pakistani water.
PPF sediment cartridges — 15 to 30 days. On heavily silted water it is closer to 15 days; on cleaner municipal supply it may reach a month.
Do not wait for a date. The housing is visible on most domestic systems, so look at it. When the PPF looks fully dirty, change it immediately. A clogged sediment cartridge stops protecting the stages behind it, and the carbon and membrane then take a load they were never designed for.
GAC and CTO carbon cartridges — 3 months maximum. Once carbon is exhausted it can begin releasing what it has collected back into the water, which is why an overdue carbon cartridge causes a smell.
Why this matters in rupees. A PPF cartridge costs Rs. 300. An RO membrane costs many times that. Every membrane we replace early has the same story behind it — sediment cartridges left in for months. The membrane does not fail on its own.
If the system has been standing unused. Water left sitting in the housings goes stagnant and develops a smell that carries into everything drawn afterwards. If the housings were left empty, the cartridges dry out and stop filtering properly. In both cases replace them before restarting.
Cartridges for Any Domestic System
Our cartridges use standard 10-inch fittings, which is what the large majority of domestic RO plants and water filters in Pakistan use — whichever brand you bought.
If you cannot identify what you need, send us a photo of the old cartridge or of the housing on WhatsApp. We will tell you what fits.
Delivery and Service
Nationwide delivery with cash on delivery available.
In Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur we have offices and service teams who can change cartridges for you, including on systems bought elsewhere. Outside these cities we deliver and guide you by phone or WhatsApp — most cartridge changes take a few minutes, and we post servicing videos on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between PPF, GAC and CTO?
PPF is a sediment filter that removes dirt, sand and rust. GAC is loose granular carbon that removes chlorine and odour at high flow. CTO is compressed carbon block that polishes taste and catches finer particles.
How often should I change a PPF filter?
Every 15 to 30 days depending on how much sediment your water carries. Check the housing visually — when it looks fully dirty, change it. Longer intervals advertised elsewhere do not match what we see in Pakistani water.
Which micron rating should I choose?
5 micron for most situations. 1 micron or 0.3 micron where the water carries fine silt or you want maximum membrane protection, accepting that they clog faster.
Will these fit my RO plant?
If it takes standard 10-inch cartridges, yes — that covers most domestic systems in Pakistan regardless of brand. Send us a photo if you are unsure.
What does a mineral cartridge do?
It adds calcium and magnesium back after the RO membrane. RO removes minerals along with dissolved salts, which is why the output can taste flat.
What is the difference between a pre-filter and a post-filter?
Pre-filters sit before the RO membrane and protect it — PPF, GAC, CTO. Post-filters sit after it and treat the finished water — mineral, alkaline, nano silver, inline carbon.
Why does my filtered water smell?
Usually an exhausted carbon cartridge. If the system has been standing unused, water in the housings may also have gone stagnant. Both need replacing.
My water flow has dropped. Is it the cartridge?
Almost always, and it is the cheapest thing to check. A clogged PPF restricts flow. Replace it before looking at the membrane or pump.
Can I change cartridges myself?
Yes, most people do. You need a housing key, which we also supply. Our social media pages carry videos showing the process.
Are Vietnam cartridges better than local ones?
They generally last longer and perform more consistently, which matters most on heavy sediment. On ordinary supply water with moderate use, a local PPF does the job at a lower price.
