Filters/Cartridges
Water Filter & Ro Plant Cartridges
Filter cartridges are consumables. They are not meant to last, and replacing them on time is what keeps the expensive parts of your system alive. We stock the full range for domestic, semi commercial and commercial systems — including cartridges for plants we did not supply.

Which Cartridge Does What
PPF — Polypropylene Sediment Filter. Stage one on almost every system. Removes sand, silt, dirt and rust. Available in 5 micron for general use, and finer ratings of 1 micron and 0.3 micron where the water carries fine particles. This is the cartridge that protects everything behind it.
GAC — Granular Activated Carbon. Loose carbon granules with high flow. Handles the bulk of chlorine and odour removal.
CTO — Carbon Block. Compressed activated carbon. Polishes taste and traps finer particles the earlier stages missed.
Mineral cartridge. Adds calcium and magnesium back after the RO membrane. RO strips minerals along with the salts, which is why RO water can taste flat. This is what fixes that.
Alkaline cartridge. Raises the pH of the output water.
Nano silver cartridge. Adds antibacterial protection at the post-filter stage.
Anti-scalant cartridge. Reduces scale formation, protecting the membrane on hard water.
Cation resin cartridge. Softening media in cartridge form, for hardness in smaller systems.
Pleated cartridge. Much larger surface area than a spun PPF. Useful where sediment load is heavy and you want longer intervals between changes.
Cartridge Sizes
10 inch — standard on domestic RO plants and water filters, the most common size in Pakistan.
20 inch slim — narrow 20 inch housings on semi commercial systems. Same diameter as a 10 inch, twice the length.
20 inch jumbo (big blue) — wide housings on commercial and whole house systems. Much larger diameter, considerably more capacity.
If you are unsure which your system takes, measure the old cartridge or send us a photo on WhatsApp.
Where Our Cartridges Are Made
We stock cartridges from different sources because they suit different budgets and different water, and we would rather tell you the difference than let you guess from the price.
PPF sediment cartridges — available Vietnam-made, Taiwan-made and locally made in Pakistan.
Carbon cartridges (GAC and CTO) — available Vietnam-made, Taiwan-made and China-made.
How to choose. Local PPF is the most economical option and works on ordinary supply water. Vietnam and Taiwan cartridges cost more and generally hold up longer and more consistently, which matters most on heavy sediment loads and on commercial systems running all day. On a system where downtime costs you money, the more expensive cartridge is usually the cheaper decision.
Tell us your water and your usage and we will recommend accordingly. We are not going to push you toward the expensive option if your water does not need it.
When to Replace
This is where most people go wrong, and it costs them a membrane.
PPF sediment cartridges — 15 to 30 days. Shorter than nearly everyone expects. On heavily silted water it is closer to 15 days; on cleaner municipal supply it may reach a month.
Do not wait for a date. The housing is visible on most systems, so look at it. When the PPF looks fully dirty, change it immediately. A clogged sediment cartridge stops protecting the stages behind it, and the carbon and membrane then take a load they were never designed for.
GAC and CTO carbon cartridges — 3 months maximum. Once carbon is exhausted it does not simply stop working. It can begin releasing what it has collected back into the water, which is why an overdue carbon cartridge causes a smell.
Usage changes everything. Heavy sediment with light use, or clean water with heavy use, will both shorten cartridge life for different reasons. Judge by condition, not the calendar.
If the system has been standing unused. Water left sitting in the housings goes stagnant and develops a smell that carries into everything drawn afterwards. If the housings were left empty, the cartridges dry out and stop filtering properly. In both cases replace them before restarting.
Why Late Changes Cost More Than Good Cartridges
A PPF cartridge is one of the cheapest parts in your system. An RO membrane is one of the most expensive.
Every membrane we replace early has the same story behind it: sediment cartridges left in too long. The membrane does not fail on its own — it fails because the cartridge in front of it stopped doing its job months earlier.
Buying the cheapest cartridge and changing it late is the most expensive way to run a water filter. Changing a decent cartridge on time is the cheapest.
Cartridges for Any System
We stock cartridges for plants we did not supply. Our range covers standard 10 inch, 20 inch slim and 20 inch jumbo fittings, which is what the large majority of systems in Pakistan use.
If you bought your plant elsewhere and cannot source cartridges, send us a photo of the old one or of the housing. We will tell you what fits.
Delivery and Service
Nationwide delivery with cash on delivery available.
In Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur we have offices and service teams who can change cartridges for you, including on systems bought elsewhere. Outside these cities we deliver and guide you by phone or WhatsApp — most cartridge changes are straightforward, and we post servicing videos on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I change my water filter cartridge?
PPF sediment cartridges every 15 to 30 days depending on how much sediment your water carries. GAC and CTO carbon cartridges up to 3 months. Check the housing visually rather than relying on the calendar.
What is the difference between PPF, GAC and CTO?
PPF is a sediment filter that removes dirt, sand and rust. GAC is loose granular carbon that removes chlorine and odour at high flow. CTO is compressed carbon block that polishes taste and catches finer particles.
What is the difference between 5 micron and 1 micron PPF?
The micron rating is the particle size the cartridge catches. 5 micron is standard and lasts longer. 1 micron and 0.3 micron catch finer particles but clog faster, so they suit cleaner water or use as a second sediment stage.
Are Vietnam cartridges better than local ones?
They generally last longer and perform more consistently, which matters most on heavy sediment or systems running all day. On ordinary supply water with moderate use, a local PPF does the job at a lower price. Tell us your water and usage and we will advise honestly.
What does a mineral cartridge do?
It adds calcium and magnesium back to water after the RO membrane. RO removes minerals along with dissolved salts, which is why the output can taste flat.
Which size cartridge do I need?
10 inch for most domestic systems, 20 inch slim for semi commercial, 20 inch jumbo for commercial and whole house. Measure your old cartridge or send us a photo.
Why does my filtered water smell?
Usually an exhausted carbon cartridge. If the system has been standing unused, water in the housings may also have gone stagnant. Both need replacing.
My water flow has dropped. Is it the cartridge?
Almost always, and it is the cheapest thing to check. A clogged PPF restricts flow. Replace it before looking at the membrane or pump.
Do your cartridges fit other brands?
Yes, if the size matches. We supply standard 10 inch, 20 inch slim and 20 inch jumbo fittings, which covers most systems sold in Pakistan.
Can I change cartridges myself?
Yes, most people do. You need a housing key, which we also supply. Our social media pages carry videos showing the process.
