The PPF in this set is our 180 gram PPF filter, the top weight grade of 10 inch PPF on the market. The membrane is the Axtron 100 GPD RO membrane.
Why Change All Filters After One Year
With standard water and normal daily use, the post carbon, the mineral cartridge and the RO membrane need changing after about one year. By then, your RO plant usually shows signs like these:
- Pure water comes out slower than before
- The taste of the water has changed
- The plant runs longer to fill the tank
Changing all six together refreshes the whole system. Once the new membrane and filters are fitted, the plant gives the same water flow as when it was new. Changing only one or two filters leaves old cartridges in the system, and they keep holding the new ones back.
Your Full Filter Change Schedule
This deal is your once-a-year full change. Between those yearly changes, the pre-filters need more frequent attention. Based on our field experience:

For the in-between changes, the PPF, GAC and CTO cartridge set covers the first three stages. Changing the PPF on time is the best way to protect your membrane.
Does It Fit My RO Plant?
Yes, if your RO plant is a 6 stage domestic plant. All 6 stage RO plants used in Pakistan use the same standard cartridge and membrane sizes, so this set fits regardless of brand.

About Membrane Warranty
Axtron gives no warranty on any RO membrane, including the one in this set. Membrane life depends on your water quality and how the plant is used. Three things shorten it:
- Pre-filters not changed on time
- Very high salt (TDS) in the feed water
- Running the plant much longer each day than normal home use
With standard water and on-time pre-filter changes, a membrane should give you about a year of service.

In other cities, we can connect you with a local technician on WhatsApp through our dealer network. The technician tells you the charges. If you agree, they visit, do the work and collect payment directly from you. These technicians are independent, not Axtron employees, so the service arrangement is between you and the technician.
