Water Filter & RO Plant Housing Price in Pakistan – 10 Inch, Slim & Jumbo
Water Filter Housings and RO Plant Housings for Every System
A water filter housing is the case that holds a filter cartridge in place under water pressure, in a standalone water filter or in an RO plant. A good RO plant housing seals tightly, doesn’t leak, and opens easily at every filter change. Axtron Pakistan supplies three housing sizes:
- 10 inch housings for home water filters and RO plants
- 20 inch slim housings for semi-commercial plants
- 20 inch jumbo housings for commercial and whole-house filtration
All come in crystal (transparent) and solid versions. We have branches in Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur, wholesale rates for retailers across Pakistan, and cash on delivery to every city.
10 Inch, Slim or Jumbo – Which Housing Do You Need?
At our counter, the first question is always: is your filter housing small, “patla” (slim) or “mota” (jumbo)? The housing must match your water filter or RO plant and the cartridges it uses.
| Housing | Size | Used For |
|---|---|---|
| 10 inch | Standard domestic | Home water filters and RO plants, families of 5–8 people |
| 20 inch slim (“patla”) | Long and thin | Semi-commercial plants for 10–20 people: restaurants, masajid, shops, small factories |
| 20 inch jumbo (“mota”) | Long and thick (big blue) | Whole-house filtration on larger properties (10 marla and above), and schools, colleges, madrassas and police lines |
Slim housings go on slim plants and jumbo housings on jumbo plants; each takes its own cartridges. Matching cartridges are under domestic filters, semi commercial filters and commercial (jumbo) filters.
Port Size – Match Your Water Line
Housings come with different port (inlet/outlet) sizes, such as ¼”, ¾”, 1″ and 1½”. The right one depends on the raw water pipe fittings at your home or plant: some sites have ½” fittings, others ¾”. Check your water line before buying, or send us a photo and we’ll confirm.
Double Ring Housings – Extra Leak Security for RO Plants
A double ring housing has two sealing rings, set some distance apart:
- The first ring sits at the top of the housing bowl.
- The second ring sits below the thread (“choori”), at the point where the thread ends and the bowl fits into the housing head.
The two rings together give a much more secure seal, which makes double ring housings the best choice for RO plants under heavy pressure, where leak security matters most. We supply the Axtron 10 inch ¼ double ring crystal housing and the Axtron 10 inch ¼ double ring white housing.
Crystal or Blue – Indoor or Outdoor?
- Crystal (transparent) housings are for indoor use. You can see the cartridge inside and change it as soon as it turns brown or dark.
- Blue (solid) housings are for places exposed to sunlight, such as rooftops, verandas and outdoor walls.
Warning: don’t use crystal housings in direct sunlight. Light reaching the wet cartridge inside causes moss (algae) growth, which spoils the filter and the water.

Lifetime Leakage Guarantee on Axtron Vietnam Housings
Axtron Vietnam housings carry a lifetime leakage guarantee. They are our top-grade housings for customers who want a water filter or RO plant housing that won’t leak.
Why Housings Leak or Break – and How to Avoid It
From our service experience, most housing failures come from how the housing is opened and closed:
- Wrong fit in the head. If the bowl is screwed into the housing head at an angle, the thread and rings don’t sit properly and it leaks. Always keep the housing straight while fitting it.
- Over-tightening the thread (choori). Tightening the thread too hard can break the housing head or the housing itself. Tighten firmly with the key, then stop.
- Using knives or tools. Hitting the housing with a knife, screwdriver or other tool to open or tighten it cracks the plastic. Always use a proper housing key.
- Crystal housings in sunlight. These grow moss inside, so use blue housings outdoors.
Housing keys for 10 inch, slim and 20 inch jumbo housings are available under RO plant fittings.
Looking for a Membrane Housing?
The housing that holds an RO membrane is called a shell. You’ll find membrane shells under RO plant shell.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which water filter housing do I need?
10 inch for home filters and RO plants, 20 inch slim for semi-commercial plants, and 20 inch jumbo for whole-house and large commercial filtration. Match the port size to your water line.
Which housing is best for an RO plant?
A double ring housing. Its two sealing rings, one at the top and one below the thread, give extra leak security under RO plant pressure.
What is the difference between slim and jumbo housings?
Both are 20 inches long. Slim (“patla”) is thin and used on semi-commercial plants. Jumbo (“mota”) is thick and used on commercial and whole-house filters. Each takes its own cartridges.
Should I buy a crystal or blue housing?
Crystal for indoor use, where you can see the cartridge. Blue for places in sunlight, because crystal housings grow moss when exposed to light.
Do housings have a guarantee?
Axtron Vietnam housings carry a lifetime leakage guarantee.
Why is my filter housing leaking or broken?
Usually it wasn’t screwed in straight, the thread (choori) was over-tightened, or it was hit with a tool. Refit it straight using a proper housing key, and don’t over-tighten.
Do you give wholesale rates to retailers?
Yes. Retailers, water filter shops, dealers and installers anywhere in Pakistan can buy housings at wholesale rates. Contact any branch.
