The Classic Pure RO filter set gives you every pre-filter your domestic RO plant needs for 3 months: three PPF sediment filters, one GAC filter and one CTO carbon block. You don’t need to buy cartridges separately. One order covers the full 3-month service cycle.
All five cartridges are Classic Pure, made in Taiwan. Classic Pure is the second brand from Axtron Pakistan. It is priced lower than our main Axtron RO filter set for 3 months, which uses Axtron Vietnam filters. Every cartridge is a standard 10 inch size, so this set fits almost every domestic RO plant in Pakistan.

Why 3 PPF Filters but Only 1 GAC and 1 CTO?
The PPF is the first line of defence and it clogs fastest. From our field experience, the PPF should be changed every 15–30 days, or when it turns fully brown or dark. The GAC and CTO last up to 3 months.
So over 3 months you use three PPF filters and one GAC and CTO. That is exactly what this set contains. If your water is very muddy, the PPF may need changing more often than once a month.
How the Classic Pure Filter Set Protects Your RO Plant
Stage 1 – PPF Sediment Filter
The 1 micron PPF stops sand, mud, rust and fine dirt. It keeps the carbon stages from clogging early. A blocked PPF reduces water flow and forces the plant to work harder.
Stage 2 – GAC Filter
Loose granular carbon removes most of the chlorine, smell and bad taste. The label lists chlorine and chemical by-products such as chloroform, THM and TCE.
Stage 3 – CTO Carbon Block
Compressed carbon gives a finer second pass. It catches any chlorine and odour the GAC left behind before the water reaches the membrane.
Why This Matters for the RO Membrane
Chlorine damages the thin-film RO membrane, and dirt blocks it. Fresh pre-filters on time are the cheapest way to keep your RO membrane working for its normal life of about 1 year. Late pre-filter changes, high TDS and long running hours all shorten membrane life.

Notes from our service experience:
- Change the PPF as soon as it turns fully brown or dark, even before the month is over.
- Don’t use the GAC and CTO past 3 months. Old carbon can make the water smell.
- RO plant left unused for some time? Replace all cartridges before using it again. Stale water inside the housings causes smell, and dried cartridges don’t perform properly.
- This set covers the pre-filters only. The membrane and every cartridge after it (post carbon, mineral, nano silver, alkaline or others) should be changed every 1 year at most.

What is the difference between the Classic Pure and Axtron 3 month sets?
Classic Pure is our second brand, made in Taiwan, and is lower in price and quality. The Axtron set uses Axtron Vietnam filters, including the 180 gram PPF. Both follow the same 3-month service cycle.
Can I change these filters myself?
Yes. Close the water inlet, release the pressure, open each housing with a spanner, fit the new cartridge in the correct stage and check the O-ring. Let the first water run to drain until it comes out clear. If you’d rather not do it yourself, a technician can do it.
