Classic Pure Post Carbon Water Filter for RO Plants
The Classic Pure post carbon water filter is an inline GAC (granular activated carbon) cartridge for domestic RO plants, made in Taiwan. It’s fitted after the RO membrane and gives the purified water a final taste polish before it reaches your glass. It’s rated for a 100 GPD flow, which suits standard domestic RO plants. Classic Pure is Axtron’s economical second brand, a lower-cost option for customers who want a post carbon stage at a smaller budget. You can buy it at our shops in Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur, or order it with cash on delivery anywhere in Pakistan.

For the best grade, choose the Axtron Post Carbon T33. If price matters most, Classic Pure gives you a post carbon stage at a lower cost.
Pre Carbon and Post Carbon: Not the Same Job
RO plants use carbon in two places, and the cartridges can’t replace each other:
| Pre carbon (GAC and CTO) | Post carbon (this product) | |
|---|---|---|
| Position | Before the RO membrane | After the RO membrane |
| Shape | 10 inch cartridge in a housing | Inline cartridge in the water line |
| Job | Removes smell and protects the membrane | Final taste polish on purified water |
| Change | Every 3 months at most | Once a year at most |
Where It Fits
The post carbon is a post filter, so it always goes after the RO membrane, usually as the first post filter. It’s an inline cartridge that connects in the water line rather than sitting in a 10 inch housing.
The stages after the membrane are flexible and can be arranged to suit your water. The post carbon can be used alongside other post filters such as the Classic Pure mineral filter, nano silver or alkaline cartridge.
Specifications
| Brand | Classic Pure (ST) |
| Type | Inline post carbon (GAC) filter |
| Made in | Taiwan |
| Flow rate | 100 GPD |
| Position | After the RO membrane |
| Fits | Standard domestic RO plants |
| Replacement | Once a year at most |
When to Replace It
Like every cartridge after the RO membrane, the post carbon should be changed once a year at most. Once the carbon is used up, it stops polishing the taste, even though water still flows through it. Change it together with your other post filters and the membrane.
Your pre-filters need changing more often. From our field experience, change the PPF filter every 15–30 days and the GAC and CTO every 3 months at most.
