Axtron UF Membrane 10 Inch – Hollow Fiber Membrane for 5 Stage UF System

Axtron UF Membrane 10 Inch – Hollow Fiber Membrane for 5 Stage UF System

The Axtron UF Membrane is a replacement ultrafiltration cartridge built for 5 stage UF water filter systems commonly installed in Pakistani homes and offices. It uses a hollow fiber membrane construction — a bundle of fine, tightly woven fiber strands housed in a compact cartridge with a single threaded end cap — and fits the same standard shell used for 100 GPD RO membranes, so it works as a drop-in replacement in that housing without needing a different shell or fitting. Made in China.

How This Axtron UF Membrane 10 Inch Works

Unlike an RO membrane, a UF (ultrafiltration) membrane filters water through fine hollow fibers that physically block bacteria, cysts, and suspended particles while allowing dissolved minerals to pass through. This means the filtered water retains natural minerals, unlike RO output. UF filtration also works without electricity and without rejecting water, which is why it's the core filtration stage in 5 stage UF systems designed for already-low-TDS municipal or supply water.

Key Features

• Hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane, 10-inch housing size
• Fits the same shell/housing as a standard 100 GPD RO membrane — direct replacement, no shell change needed
• Removes bacteria, cysts, and fine suspended particles while retaining natural minerals
• No electricity required, no water rejected during filtration
• Single threaded end-cap design for standard canister-style housings

Specifications

Who This Is For

• Owners of 5 stage UF water filter systems needing a replacement membrane
• Households and offices on low-TDS municipal or supply water
• Anyone whose UF system uses a standard 100 GPD RO membrane-size shell

Fit & Compatibility

This UF membrane is sized to fit directly into the same canister shell used for a standard 100 GPD RO membrane. If your 5 stage UF system currently uses that shell size, this membrane installs as a direct swap without any housing modification.

Maintenance & Replacement

• Replace when flow noticeably slows or water clarity/taste declines, as is standard for UF membrane cartridges.
• Install with the threaded end properly seated in the housing cap to avoid bypass leaks.
• Not intended for bore water or high-TDS sources — UF systems are built for water that is already low in TDS but needs bacteria and sediment removal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What housing does this UF membrane fit?
The same shell used for a standard 100 GPD RO membrane — a direct replacement for that housing size.

Q2: What does a UF membrane remove that an RO membrane doesn't?
A UF membrane removes bacteria, cysts, and suspended particles while allowing dissolved minerals to pass through, so the filtered water keeps its natural mineral content.

Q3: Is this suitable for bore water or high-TDS water?
No. UF membranes are designed for water that's already low in TDS but needs bacteria and sediment removal, such as treated municipal or supply water.

Q4: Does this membrane need electricity to work?
No, UF filtration is a passive, pressure-driven process and doesn't require electricity.

Q5: Is delivery available across Pakistan?
Yes, nationwide delivery including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and Multan.
