Axtron Grand Forest 1000 GPD RO Booster Pump
The 1000-G is the largest pump in our semi commercial range. Rated at 1000 GPD with an open flow of 5 litres per minute at 120 to 140 PSI, it supplies the pressure for plants at the top end of the semi commercial bracket.
Pressure is what makes reverse osmosis work. Water has to be forced through the membrane, and when pressure falls short the membrane stops rejecting salts properly — output drops, TDS creeps up, and the plant looks like it is failing when the pump is the real cause.
We stock this pump at our shops in Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur.

800-G or 1000-G: Which Do You Need?
The two pumps look identical and the difference is small on paper, so it is worth being clear.
| 800-G | 1000-G | |
|---|---|---|
| Rating | 800 GPD | 1000 GPD |
| Open flow | 4.6 L/min | 5 L/min |

Match the pump to your plant's rating. A 1000 GPD plant takes the 1000-G. An 800 GPD plant takes the 800-G.
Where the 1000-G is worth the extra Rs. 2,000 is on plants running long hours every day. A pump working near its limit wears faster than one with headroom, and on a madrassa or school plant running through the full day, the larger pump has an easier life. If your plant sits between the two ratings, take the 1000-G.
If you are unsure what your plant is rated at, send us a photo of the system on WhatsApp.
Which Plants Does It Suit?
This pump covers the upper end of our semi commercial RO plant range — plants at 1000 GPD, and multi-membrane setups needing that level of pressure.
In practice that means premises with sustained daily demand: large madrassas, schools and colleges, hostels, large offices, busy restaurants, and larger households. Across Multan and southern Punjab this is the size we fit most often where a plant runs most of the day rather than in short bursts.
Our semi commercial plants span 200 to 1000 GPD and pumps are matched across that range. Tell us your plant capacity and we will give you the correct pump rather than the nearest one.
You Will Need a Transformer
This is sold as the pump alone. A 24V DC pump cannot run from mains supply directly — it needs a transformer stepping 220V AC down to 24V DC.
If you are replacing a failed pump, your existing transformer will usually serve, provided it is rated for this pump's draw and is in good condition. A weak or failing transformer causes exactly the symptoms people blame on the pump: low pressure, poor output, a pump that runs hot or cuts out.
Worth noting when stepping up from an 800-G: check your transformer is adequate for the larger pump. Bring it into any of our shops and we will test it, or send a photo on WhatsApp.
About the "Residential" Label
The pump body carries a line reading "designed for residential reverse osmosis system." That wording is standard across this class of pump and refers to small-system duty rather than heavy industrial service.
At 1000 GPD and 120–140 PSI it is correctly matched to semi commercial plants. Full commercial and industrial plants need a high-pressure pump, and we will tell you so if that is what you are running.

Fitting and Service
In Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur our technicians fit and test pumps on site, including on plants supplied by others. If your plant has lost pressure and you are not sure whether the fault is the pump, the transformer or the pre-filters, we will diagnose it rather than sell you a part you may not need.
Outside these cities we deliver nationwide and work through it with you by phone or WhatsApp. Most pump replacements are straightforward, and we post fitting videos on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Getting Longer Life From Your Pump
Keep the pre-filters clean. A pump pulling through a clogged sediment cartridge works far harder than it should. The same neglect that chokes membranes burns out pumps, for the same reason. PPF cartridges need changing every 15 to 30 days depending on your water — see our semi commercial filters.
Do not let it run dry. A diaphragm pump needs water through it. Running dry, whether from supply failure or an empty feed tank, damages the diaphragms quickly. In areas with irregular supply this is the most common avoidable cause of pump failure we see.
Mount it on the bracket. It is supplied for a reason. A pump left loose vibrates, stresses its fittings and loosens connections over time.
Watch the duty cycle. The label notes duty cycle varies with load and ambient temperature. A pump running continuously through a Multan summer works considerably harder than one cycling normally in winter.
Signs the Pump Is Failing
Pressure dropping. The clearest sign, and the first to show in your output.
Noise changing. Diaphragm pumps get louder and rougher as they wear.
Running hot. Some warmth is normal. Too hot to hold comfortably is not.
Not starting, or cutting out. Check the transformer before condemning the pump — a failing transformer produces the same symptoms and costs far less to replace.
Before replacing a pump, check the pre-filters. A blocked sediment cartridge starves the pump and mimics pump failure. We have had plenty of customers ready to buy a new pump when a cartridge change solved it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this come with a transformer?
No. The pump, mounting bracket and connector lead are included. A 24V DC pump needs a transformer to run from mains supply — ask us and we will supply the matching one.
What is the difference between the 800-G and 1000-G?
Rating and flow. The 800-G is 800 GPD at 4.6 L/min, the 1000-G is 1000 GPD at 5 L/min. Both run 120–140 PSI at 24V. Match the pump to your plant rating, and take the 1000-G if your plant sits between the two or runs long hours daily.
Can I buy this pump from your shop in Multan?
Yes. We stock it in Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur. Bring your old pump or a photo of your plant and we will confirm the match before you buy. We also deliver nationwide with cash on delivery.
Will it fit my RO plant?
If your plant is rated around 1000 GPD, yes. Tell us your capacity and we will confirm.
What pressure does it produce?
120 to 140 PSI, with an open flow of 5 litres per minute.
The label says residential. Can I use it on a commercial plant?
On semi commercial plants, yes — that is what it is matched to. Full commercial and industrial plants need a high-pressure pump instead.
My pump is not starting. Is it broken?
Check the transformer first. A failing transformer causes the same symptoms as a failed pump and is cheaper to replace. Also check your pre-filters, since a blocked cartridge starves the pump.
How long does a booster pump last?
There is no fixed figure. It depends on running hours, water quality and how well the pre-filters are maintained. Pumps on plants with cartridges changed on schedule last considerably longer than those pulling through clogged filters.
Do you deliver outside Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur?
Yes, nationwide with cash on delivery. On-site fitting and service visits are limited to our three shop cities, but we support installation anywhere in Pakistan by phone and WhatsApp.
Where is it made?
Vietnam.
Can I fit it myself?
Yes. Mount it on the bracket, connect inlet and outlet the right way round — the pump head carries a flow arrow — and wire it through your transformer. Our teams will fit it for you in Multan, Lahore and Bahawalpur.
