Axtron CTO Slim 20 Inch – Activated Carbon Block Filter Cartridge, Made in Vietnam

Axtron CTO Slim 20 Inch – Activated Carbon Block Filter Cartridge, Made in Vietnam

The Axtron CTO Slim 20 Inch is an NSF certified activated carbon block (CTO) filter cartridge, Made in Vietnam. In the local market, it's commonly known as the "jali wala filter" — named for the netted mesh wrap visible on its exterior. Working the same way as our 10-inch Axtron CTO cartridge, this 20-inch slim version delivers the same chlorine and odor removal in a longer cartridge suited to slim 20-inch housings.

What Axtron CTO Slim 20 Inch Does

Per the manufacturer's stated features on the product label, this cartridge:

• Removes chlorine, surplus organic compounds, and gases that cause odor in water
• Protects RO membranes from clogging residues

It works as a dechlorination and taste/odor-improvement stage — typically installed as a pre-filter ahead of an RO membrane, protecting the membrane from chlorine damage while improving the taste, smell, and clarity of the water passing through.

What Axtron CTO Slim 20 Inch Made Of

Per the product label, the composition is coal-based carbon and a de-chlorination material. Coal-based activated carbon is a well-established, widely used source for activated carbon in water treatment, working through adsorption — contaminant molecules bond to the carbon's porous surface as water passes through, rather than being mechanically strained out.

Certified Quality

This cartridge carries NSF certification, a Water Quality Association member mark, and ISO 9001:2015 certification — all confirmed directly from the product label.

Installation Note (Important)

Per the manufacturer's instruction printed on the cartridge: wash/flush the cartridge before water flows into the RO membrane. This clears any initial residue from the filter media before it reaches the membrane stage.

Applications

• Pre-filtration/dechlorination stage in domestic and semi-commercial RO systems
• Slim 20-inch housings (2.5" diameter standard)
• Homes and small businesses on municipal or borewell water with noticeable chlorine taste or odor
• Multi-stage RO systems needing a longer-duration carbon stage than the standard 10-inch option
